Supplies: cardstock: The Paper Co. kraft, Bazzill navy blue and red; image: unknown; glitter: Martha Stewart Platinum; brad: Creative Imaginations; floss: Prism red; ribbon: Wright's navy blue
Thank you for visiting!
But not stopping at the card. I made this fun little container from a cinnamon bun icing packaging. I just love how small it is! It has lots of possibilities for uses. My immediate thought was to house a mini album. Then my mind thought it would make a cute little tooth fairy box and yet then I thought, how cute would it be to hold a "finding" from digging in the dirt? I remember as a child my pockets held tiny rocks, flowers, a penny, etc. It was the best feeling finding a treasure! Anyhow, I hope you like this little treasure box.
Here's the before:

The new card challenge for Paper Popsicles is a card sketch. This week's prize is a $10 gift certificate to the store.
Check it out here!
So that's 30 brand new Digiments from 6 different lines:
Patriotism; My Sister, My Friend; About Friendship;
Birthday Expressions; Inspirations of Love and Simple Sentiments for $10!
Again the design team has created some wonderful cards and projects to share with you so be sure to check them out at the site. What's really neat about it is the eclectic cards and gift items that are made. It showcases classy and simple to shabby and chic.
I must admit I tend to have a lot going on with my projects. Knowing when to say stop is not always easy. :-)
For my first project I used a Patriotism Digiment to create:
This is a paper mache heart that I covered with paper, lined the edges with crepe paper, and then distressed heavily.
A friend sent me this chipboard heart a while back. I knew the moment I saw the Inspirations of Love Digiments how I was going to use it.
I painted the covered the chipboard with papers and then used gray paint on the edges. I distressed the edges with a nail file and then glued glitter around to give a little sparkle. I cut the Digiment out and distressed it a little to give shape and color.
This item has a matching card which I shared earlier this week. Oh how I love Digiments because they are so easy to print out and use.
Supplies: cardstock: Stampin Up Chocolate Chip Cameo Coral, Wausau white; pattern paper: EK Success embossed stripe; stamps: Unity; ink: Stampin Up Chocolate Chip and Cameo Coral; ribbon: Martha Stewart; pearls: Kaiser Craft snow white and chocolate; button: American crafts
This next card is for the CPS challenge #119.

I created this card using one of the "Inspirations of Love" Digiments. I think this would make a lovely wedding card.

On Saturday, 30 new Digiments will be released and there will be lots of cards and projects from the design team to view. In the mean time, be sure to check out the design teams sneak peeks via their blogs which are listed on my right side bar. Lots of great inspiration! Also don't forget about the weekly contest for your chance to win some Digiments!
This line by Creative Imaginations has been out for a bit now. There are several different themes available. By themes, I mean golf, fishing, etc. I picked a few sheets up on Sunday because I wanted to make a card for my father's birthday.
Today I cut into the papers and created a card for the Paper Popsicles card challenge this week.
Here is the inside:
I covered this BE gift card holder too.
I know. Nothing spectacular. I really had to try and keep it simple and remember it was a man's card and gift card holder. It was really difficult for me NOT to put rhinestones, glitter, flowers, and more on these items. I like that it is simple and has a clean look. I did do some distressing with my nail file.
I was able to swing by the LSS and pick up some of the new Cosmo Cricket Early Bird paper yesterday. It's the first line I have bought from them in quite a bit. I love the stripes, polka dots, florals, and vintage images in this line. Very fun! Much appreciation and love to my DD for the gift certificate. :-)
Congratulations to the final 30 artists that advanced to the next level in 2S4Y's card contest. That must have been difficult to judge with 400 + entries. The finalists have a new sketch to work with and a few have already completed it. I enjoy looking at the amazing work created. I wish them all luck!
Here's my card for Kazan's #28 sketch:
cardstock: Bazzill; pattern paper: Cosmo Cricket Early Bird; stick pins: Making Memories; ribbon: craft supply: button: Making Memories; floss: DMC
Thank you for stopping by! I really appreciate it! Have a great day! :-)
This is the cutest set! I made two cards to share with you. The first is based on the Card Patterns #19 sketch.
Supplies: cardstock: Wausau white, Bazzill; SEI pattern papers, stamps: That's Jazzy; glitter: Stickles; buttons and ribbon: craft supply; ink: Plaid black
This was a random card I just pieced together with scraps for the Use It challenge. I love the dotted mushroom! The new challenge is:
- 1. only scrap paper
- 2. Bling
- 3. Die cut(s)
- Bonus: 4 different pieces of pattern paper
I did all except the bonus. This card definitely uses scraps, hence the lack of 4 different papers. I blinged it up Stickles yellow and green. I made a circle die cut and the scallop border.
Supplies; cardstock: Wausau white, Bazzill sparkle light blue;Stampin' Up Pretty in Pink; stamp: That's Jazzy staples: Making Memories; glitter glue: Stickles; ribbon, brad, anchor: craft supply;ink: Plaid black; other: Fiskar's Threading Water punch and Creative Memories circle cutters.
I posted a new card challenge at the Paper Popsicles blog. This week is a "recipe". The winner will receive 3 digital designs of their choice from the Paper Popsicles store. There are some really cute images that I want! If you like pies, check out the blackbird pie design on my right sidebar. Super cute!
On to my recipe challenge for the week.
Use 2 different colors of cardstock
Use 1 piece of pattern paper
Use 2 embellishments
Use 1 piece of ribbon
Check out the details here
Here is Laura's fantastic sketch:
Supplies: cardstock: The Paper Co. kraft; Bazzill yellow; pattern paper: Sassafras Lass; jewels: Heidi Swapp Bling; ribbon: American Crafts salmon; alphabet stickers: Webster's Pages Storytellers; button: craft supply; floss: DMC white
I think I am going to make another card because just not sure this is a "winner." You may enter as many cards as you like which is added bonus! :-) I am not kidding when I type there are so many incredible cards for this contest. This is going to be extremely difficult to judge. Grab a favorite beverage and plan on sitting down for a bit to view the entries. Lots of great cards!
