Coffee Note

Hi all! I am sharing a card today I made for fun and plan to send a crafty pal to hopefully make her smile.  I like sending love mail.  I call it "love in the box" at my house.  Plus it supports our postal system and with recent cut backs, I am feeling for those now seeking employment.  For my card, I used a Freshly Brewed digi and sketch.  I am going with a hot theme of hot coffee and a hot air balloon.
I used Crate Paper with Studio Calico.  The stickers are from SRM of course. :-)  I love the new labels by the dozen.

Thanks So Much

Happy Monday to you!  Paper Playtime's challenge is polka dots and oh how I love me some polka dots.  I know that's terrible English.  Sometimes you just want to express yourself without the worries of  a critic :-)
Lucy Kelleher generously sponsored the DT with CTMH products.  She is one very sweet lady!  I adore the floral print papers and the acrylic stamp set she supplied.
I hope you will join us for the challenge!

You are berry sweet!

Happy Sunday all!  Today I get to share my card for Sentimental Sunday's newest challenge which is banners/pennants.
I am working on clearing out scraps so I can make way for those new paper lines being released.  The LSS already has quite a few I want but I feel guilt buying new papers when old papers sit.  For this I used a Tiddly Inks digital image printed on a WRMK's polka dot print.  I cut it out and added a green top with dimensional dots for depth.  Most of the scraps are from Sass Lass, GCD Studios, and Bazzill.  I made my pennant banner using pink twine and added heart die cuts.  I used Stickles on the "seeds" of my berry which did not show very well in the photo.
I hope you like and thanks for stopping by!

Challenges for my card:
Craft Your days Away: #52 Anything Goes
Crafty Ribbon Challenges: Feeling Fruity
Frosted Designs: Twine/Ribbon
Speedy and Friends: #121 Friendship

SRM Sticker's Valentine Pockets

Hey there!  Have you seen SRM Stickers newest stickers?  Check them out here!  I made a few Valentines goodies using Bright Labels by the Dozen and Valentine's We've Got Your Border.   These are easy to create brown bag pockets for those sweet treats you want to give your sweetie!  I cut the bottom off brown lunch sacks and then stitched around the edges.  I focused on the border and label stickers by using minimal print paper. I can't wait to tuck a home made treat inside!

I added a Valentine border stickers to the top and bottom of my decorative paper.
I added a label and then created a white banner using the sentiment (also from the border sheet) which I accented with a few chipboard pieces.

                                                              Here's another pocket

These bags were created using
SRM Stickers Label by the Dozen:  #63001 EveryDay Brights
We've Got Your Border: #57007 Valentine

Yum yummy mini and tin

I am oh so lucky to share with you two projects for Vintage Street Market today featuring their newest collections.  We now have vintage items mixed with new  I used items from Kitsch Kitchen for my projects and have included a list below for you to find the items in the store.

First up is the mini album. I used corrugated cardboard for the  covers and added Vintage Street Market's Kitchen Ephemera with Cosmo Cricket's Rose pattern paper.  Using pinking shears, I cut a strip of chocolate brown crepe paper and stitched down the middle.  I wrapped  aqua Twirly Twine around the bottom  and stapled  to attach.  Can you see the two strips of Tinted Tape at the top of my book ?  They are kinda hidden under the red foil but love how subtle the tape is.   I made a pennant from  red foil and punched out  two hearts and then accented the middle with Liquid Pearls.  The stickers are Live Life What's Cookin'? and Express Yourself  Recipes from SRM Stickers. Isn't that fork the cutest?  That's a vintage set offered by Vintage Street Market right here.
Here is my little book opened.
I kept the pages simple inside by using the Kitchen Ephemera again taped down with Linen Tinted Tape and then adding  a SRM Sticker.  The pages are mini coin envelopes covered in pattern paper in three basic designs.    This is the first  simple page with an embellishment of three red foil hearts.

These are the two other designs. I used Cosmo Cricket's Rose paper to cover, accented with a Kitchen Ephemera piece and a scallop punch out from For the Record by Echo Park.  The buttons are Dimestore Vogue die cuts tied with  aqua Twirly Twine.  The second page used Crate Paper's Farmhouse Farmer's market paper with the chocolate brown crepe paper and aqua Twirly Twine stapled.

The last page with the back cover.

Items used:

I repurposed a candy tin to create this next project.
I covered the tin with Cosmo Cricket's  Rose pattern paper.  I then wrapped  Linen Tinted Tape around the top and bottom to give better wear.
I added a strip of stitched chocolate brown crepe paper under the tape seam.  A small panel of the Kitchen Ephemera was added next.  I tied a vintage button with  aqua Twirly Twine, added a few cream card stock  pennants with SRM Express Yourself Stickers, and a Vintage Street Market aqua ticket to embellish.
I wrapped lace trim  around the bottom tape seam and then added the red library card holder, two red roses, and another SRM Sticker.
For the top, I added a piece of the Farmhouse Farmer's Market by Crate Paper and applied Liquid Pearls around the edges.  I placed vintage red bingo marker on top.

I hope you enjoyed and thanks for sticking with me through my epic post1

Smile Donkey!

Hey!  I have a super simple card for today.  I made this for the new Sentimental Sunday's challenge and used a Bugaboo image who is sponsoring.

So a little bit about this card. I printed my donkey image on pattern ppaer and then cut out.  I used foam dots to pop him up on the red polka dot paper.    All papers are  My Mind's Eye .  I added a sticker sentiment from SRM Sticker.  Then I made a tail with twine from The Twinery.    That's pretty simple for me.
Thanks for looking!

Hey there!  SRM Stickers paired up with Lawn Fawn designs to create two days of great projects!  You can see them here.  My card is below with details of products used.

I used the following stickers  We've Got Your Sticker #53002 Hello for my sentiment and We've Got Your Border #57004 Thank You for the yellow scallop borders at the top and bottom of my card.
My stamp set was Sunny Skies from Lawn Fawn.

The papers are from Studio Calico and I added a piece of lace trim and rhinestones to embellish.  Thanks for looking!

Shabby Chic pockets

I am sharing my shabby chic pockets today.  I made these for a swap and filled them with handmade tags and a few goodies. :-) These were a delight to create and my only wish was to have made an extra one to keep.  I sure hope the ladies that received them are enjoying!
***Warning this is photo heavy!!***
I made the tags and pockets  with manilla file folders.  I trimmed the folders to 5 x 6.  I stitched the edges to make it a nice sturdy pocket.  They have vintage sheet panels on the front and back paired with papers from My Mind's Eye.  Each one has been distressed with ink for a slight aged effect.  All three pockets are slightly different so be sure to scroll down and see.  At the end, I have shown each tag I made you see in the pockets.
I had photo frames that I distressed lightly to highlight a piece of MME paper on this one.  I also added a vintage ticket stub which is peeking out on the far left.  The roses and leaves are from Prima.  I added the baby blue seam binding and a gold twine bow to each pocket.

These are the three tags I made to put inside.

Thank you so very much for stopping by!
